"DHCP lease expired" errors on multiple clients
Hi all
In my environment, we have a mixture of V10LE, C10LE, 3010 & 3040 clients.
Recently, after a major network equipment change, all our thin clients started to have issues with renewing their IP leases showing the below message:
The clients use the DHCPExpire=reboot wnos.ini option.
Strange thing is that some clients seem to come up with this error 2-3 hours after being power cycled while the DHCP lease time for them is 7 days.
Have you guys seen these errors in your environments? Is there anything I could do my side to address this, without reaching to the network team?
Thanks for your help!

Our main clients I believe being impacted are the 3040 units.

Did you ever figure out this issue? We to are seeing random clients that can't renew their DHCP lease. We can go for a month or so and then we get a sudden surge of DHCP lease renewal issues. Built brand new Microsoft DHCP servers, validated all settings we can think of.
Thank you,

No, it still happens.
Seems like the Juniper DHCP relay may be contributing to this.
We are in the process of phasing out ThinOS 8.x clients, so hopefully the problem will go away with the old clients..
