Dell Wyse 3040 Windows RDP Screen Freeze On Disconnect / Press F12 Key
Hi All
Built a basic lab for testing a Wyse 3040 running ThinOS with a Windows VDI setup.
I have tested under the following images ThinOS with the latest 1.25 BIOS
| 8.5_024 |
| 8.6_027 |
Configuration is done via Wyse Management Suite where the 3040 unit is joined to a Group with all the applicable settings.
Had initial issues with authenticating which was resolved by adding this to the config file Advanced line
SessionConfig=RDP TSGWEnable=no
User logins in all fine and system works great, when its time to exit the user would then from within Windows click the Disconnect button (As opposed to Shutdown / Restart Windows) and the system would then Freeze on the screen, the same effect if the user presses the F12 key which has also been set to Disconnect the session.
The only way out at this point is to hard power the unit off or the screen is stuck with the last image of the disconnected session.
Any idea how to track down the root cause of this issue?
Or has anyone experienced a similar issue?
Appreciate any advice
