Change desktop icon font colors

I'm using a 'classic' desktop with WYSE ThinOS 9.1 and a company logo that has a white background for the desktop wallpaper. The desktop icons all have white text and are very light in color making them all but disappear from view. Is there a way to change the icon font color to anything other than white and/or customize the icon's image?
