Add custom VMware configuration?

I've got a flight simulator running on a WIndows 10 VM connected to a Wyse 5070 ThinOS client with VMware Horizon through Blast Extreme. The joystick inputs are delayed by about half a second. There's a fix available: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/67759, simply adding 'RemoteDisplay.disableAudioAndVideoBuffering = TRUE' to a config file, and I'm able to apply it to our 10ZiG clients running their custom NOS firmware and on IGEL clients. The performance on both those clients is great, but the NOS client manager is lacking and IGEL shows screen tearing at 60 fps, so I wanted to try and apply the fix to the Wyse 5070 ThinOS client, but I have no idea how to go about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
