Wyse SX0 & Windows Server 2003 Standard: Printer Problem
Wyse SX0 & Windows Server 2003 Standard: Printer Problem
Hello Wyse friends and users!
I am working on setting up an HP 2055DN Lasetjet connected to a Wyse SX0 box.
It is configured over LPT1 and we can print a test page from the Wyse client no problem.
USB/Printer/Serials/Sound are set to auto-connect through the RDP connection to the Terminal Server running 2003 Standard.
Problem is we cannot get the printer to communicate from within the terminal server instance the user is logged in under. It keeps failing to print. The username also has temporary administrative rights to add the printer.
We're adding the printer as a local printer, using LPT1, the HP Universal Print Driver PCL5, and keeping all of the naming conventions the same.
But it fails to print. Any ideas? Your help and feedback is appreciated!!
Thanks,
Sean
