Wyse Imaging Failed

I've tried to use USB Imaging Tool "Merlin Version 4.0.7" to downgrade Wyse 3040 from ThinOS 9.1.x to ThinOS 8.6_710.

After a lot of test I've found an USB that is readable, I can select OS and start procedure.

The progress bar goes to 1,2,3...% and then it says "Imaging Failed", without any other information.

How can I fix it ?

Please help, I need to downgrade 80 Wyse to use already tested and configured ThinOS 8.6_710 before starting use ThinOS 9.1.

Using the same "USB Imaging Tool "Merlin Version 4.0.7" to test imaging with Wyse Dell Optiplex 3000

I am able to select the image and get to "Image pushing from USB device (Don't turn off your device!)" "Non-Pxe Files" "Operating System (In Progress)"

The Progress bar will get to 100% and start over a few times before failing with "Imaging Failed"

I have exactly the same problem with the new Windows 10 LTSC MR2 2019 image. Same error message. I tried it even on 2 different Wyse 5070 clients. That not alone, I've updated the BIOS on both Wyse 5070 clients to the latest v1.22 BIOS. After that the imaging still does not want to update the above image. If I try to install the January 2022 LTSC 2019 image, it says it succeeds but after a reboot it says Boot device not found. Tried several times nothing works. Seems that the thin client is wrecked or something. And 2 of them now. This is not the only issue I have with Wyse Thin clients. All Dell software is having problems. Have a lot of issues with Wyse Easy Setup and Wyse Device Agent. When I update WDA on several 5070's the Easy setup does not load it's interface anymore. It found out after reading and debugging for hours that the update deletes some important INI files that tell WDA to connect via DNS to my Wyse Management Server. This clients has around 19 Wyse 5070 devices and already had so many issues with them. I'm done with it. No Dell Wyse anymore in the future!
