Wyse 5070, pushing windows 10 IoT fails with flash size validation
Hi
Hope someone can help on this one.
I'm trying to push a windows 10 IoT image downloaded from dell support. I'm able to create an USB image by the USB imaging tool 3.4.0 and the booting of the wyse 5070 is also working.
I also come to the page where I select the image from the USB and click start.
I get following error:
"Error while checking disk size, Image size on USB is 18020MB, FLASH size is 15028 MB (Error code: 310)"
"Image size on USB key is bigger than flash size"
It seems my wyse 5070 flash size is to small. Is this something I'm doing wrong or can I upgrade the flash size of the Wyse 5070 some how?
BR Peter

Did you manage to find a resolution to this?

update...
Figured this out - Had to boot into the OS and login as admin, turn off the write filter and then try again, worked fine after this.
Appears you cannot boot straight to USB on a freshly unboxed device, you must boot into the OS first... tricky if the device will not boot correctly.

Did you ever get this figured out? I can install ThinOS, but not ThinLinux or Win10 IOT. Both of those whine about the error. I don't know any any write filter capabilities in ThinOS.
