Screen Resolution - Picture not in right position

Hello there,

I've got a strange problem at one of our Wyse Thin Clients.

The resolution is set to 1920x1080. But the picture displayed is not in the right position (black borders on both sides of the Display)

When I change the resolution to something lower (eg. 1270x720) the picture displayed is completly fine but doesn't get saved since the clients are configurated via our network.

Is there a way to overrule this and set the resolution local on a Thin Client?

Do you guys have some tipps on where I should take a look since the Problem only exists at 1920x1080? - Could this be Hardware related?

I unfotunatelly don't have much expirience with the wyse Clients.

Best regards,
Patrik

Patrik,

Dell Wyse makes many types of thin clients with different operating systems and many brands and models of monitors, which just as many ways to configure the devices. If your clients are configured from the network, your best bet is to talk to your administrator and see if he/she can change it. If that doesn't work, please include the model of the thin client you are using .e.g. T10D, D90D, Z90Q7, etc. and find out what the native resolution for your monitor.
