New to WYSE, help choosing appropriate model and OS.
New to WYSE, help choosing appropriate model and OS.
Hello,
We have a Java WebStart (jnlp file) application we launch and run in a kiosk type mode.
Using this on say a DeTOS thin client via VDI-in-a-box or just through Firefox runs fine, as far as launching it.
I wanted to look into WYSE but need some guidance on models, particularly which OS to use for Java Webstart and additionally require very good touch screen capabilities.
I assume and Windows 8 embedded model would achieve this but I don't require a lot of performance and like the idea of something more light weight so I'm curious if ThinOS or just Linux would suit my needs.
Thanks for any help.

Multitouch support
Ginifire,
Currently ThinOS or Linux clients do not support multi-touch monitors, so you would be looking at WES7P or WE8S thin clients. For a list of models, please click here.
