ENABLE VNC WTOS 8.3
Hello,
Is it possible to enable VNC server on WTOS 8.3 without the use of a centrally managed WNOS.ini file? As in, can these settings be applied locally, directly to the thin client in some form of ‘permanent’ registry?
The problem I am facing is:
When I enable VNC via WNOS.ini it works, however the client prompts for a username/password, and I have no idea what the credentials are, it also doesn’t allow me access to the Connection Manager to create/manage my ICA/RDP connections. When I remove the WNOS.ini the client starts normally (but without VNC), so I assume it’s logging in with some set of hidden credentials.
How do I prevent my WNOS.ini file server from being a single point of failure? As of now, if the file is unavailable the client just defaults and loses whatever settings the WNOS.ini was pushing down. Is there anyway for these settings to persist, or apply permanently?
Lastly, how is Admin Mode accessed? The option is greyed out when right clicking the top corner.
Thank you.
