Variable connection problems

Variable connection problems

I installed the PCloud yesterday on my iPhone and iPad and have a range of connection problems.

I've managed to connect manually using wireless as the Autodiscovery wasn't working for either device. Discovered connection is [on] but when i try to connect "session disconnected" appears after a period of "loading" when trying to connect to home wireless.

I've connected via 3G using my iPhone through Autodiscovery away from my local home connection.

However I would like to connect through Autodiscovery when on my local wireless connection.

My setup:

1. Version of PocketCloud - latest
2. Windows 7 home edition
3. Latest desktop pocketcloud Companion and TightVNC Server
4. TightVNC Server Under "Loopback Connections" checked the option "Allow loopback connections"
5. I've uninstalled and reinstalled rebooted multiple times after making changes suggested on this forum.
6. VNC to port 5900*successful

Could you please advise what steps I need to take to get the connections working?

It is possible that your firewall or anti-virus may be blocking the companion from being able to communicate with PocketCloud. Try temporarily disabling them and adding the applications to the allowed applications lists in both to see if that helps.

Do you have more than 1 VNC client installed on your computer?

What version of PocketCloud are you using (Free or Pro)?

When you cannot connect, if you right click on the companion icon (kite) in your system tray, does it have a green dot and say "Sign out

xxxxxx@gmail.com" or does it have a red dot and say "Sign in - xxxxxxx@gmail.com"?
