Pointer Issue

Pointer Issue

I have the following issue.
I set two kind of resolutions:
1024x768 and 1280x960 and when I select the pointer if I touch the screen it begins to move.
What I want is that the screen resolution should remain fixed.
Is there an option to do so?

Thanks

Giovanni

When I am in remote desktop I see the normal screen at the resolution I fixed. In this moment if I slide my finger on the screen, the screen does not move. An it is perfect for me.
As I tap with two fingers on the screen to activate the pointer the screen is not fixed anymore and if I slide my finger on it the screen begins to move.
I tried this on many different remote desktop connection and it is always like this.
As I tap with two fingers on the screen to deactivate the pointer the screen is fixed again and I cannot move it.

Please let me know if there is a solution because this is really very important.
We're trying to build a solution based on your rdp client but people who should use it don't want the screen to move..

Thanks

Giovanni

I am not too sure exactly what the issue you are experiencing is.

Are you saying that your remote computer has 2 monitors and the resolutions are set at 1024x768 and 1280x960? And you are saying that the screen shifting on its own when the pointer is selected?

The desktop will always be moveable.

Please let me know so I can better troubleshoot the issue with you.

I see what you are saying now. Thank you for the clarification.

Unfortunately this is by design. When the touch pointer is active, you are able to move the desktop around so if you were trying to tap on something along the edge or in the corner of the screen, you could move the desktop so you can accurately do so with the pointer.

Unfortunately that is the only way to do this as of right now. If you would like to see different behavior, please put in a feature request here:

is there any way to click on icons in a Windows task bar placed at the bottom of the display without having to slide the whole displayed frame up? (because the pointer arrow is at 11:00 on the control wheel) I'm using pocketcloud with a 7" Android tablet and it is tedious to have to either sacrifice precious screen space by leaving the remote window moved up half an inch above the bottom of the tablet display edge, or else constantly shift the window up and then back down after clicking on an a task icon.
By contrast the Citrix remote receiver application allows the cursor to be moved anywhere on the displayed desktop without having to shift windows around.
