Pocketcloud Windows Companion fails to install on Windows 8
Pocketcloud Windows Companion fails to install on Windows 8
I have managed to get this running beautifully on Windows 7 logging on with my iPad. Excellent product!!!
However when attempting to install on my Windows 8 Notebook the install failed.
The last entry in the log file is:
MainEngineThread is returning 1603
Is this a known problem with Windows 8 ?

Brian,
The current release of the Windows Companion does not support Windows 8. We are working on the problem and will have a working version by release date of Windows 8 or soon there after. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Windows 8 release date is set at October 26th.

Unfortunately it does take time to develop software to play nice with new operating systems. What exactly are you having trouble with?

It has been submitted to Apple for approval. I would expect to see a update available within 2 weeks. =]
