PocketCloud Windows Companion Doesn't Log In Automatically or As a Service

PocketCloud Windows Companion Doesn't Log In Automatically or As a Service

Is there a way to get the PocketCloud to run as a service or login to my google account automatically?

If my computer restarts, it is no longer accessible remotely.

what is your host operating system?
Pocketcloud works as service. It should ideally login automatically.

Windows 7 64.

I see the app in the systray. I ran Windows services and see it in there, but it never automatically logs in. If the computer gets logged off or rebooted, it is unreachable.

When I look at auto discovery settings, it doesn't retain my gmail account. I have to re-type it and login.

Edward, thanks for the tip. Uninstalling and reinstalling seems to have done the trick. Bit of a bugaboo, but no biggie. Now, get to work on a Windows Viewer, Wyse!!

Nope, no change. I'm not positive, but I believe that this behavior (the windows client not retaining credentials) is somewhat new. I think it used to work fine...

Me too.

I'm having the same problem. If my Windows 7 laptop reboots, I have to re-enter the google credentials to login. Opening the settings dialog, the credentials are not being retained.

I installed the upgrade that came out recently. No change after upgrade, but I uninstalled completely, rebooted. Reinstalled and now it works fine. Dunno what the issue was. I would try that.

Hi Sky, Is your gmail password changed since you rebooted?
