PocketCloud VNC how to send extended characters
PocketCloud VNC how to send extended characters
While the iPad keyboard can be used to type extended/accented characters, there doesn't seem to be support for sending them to a VNC client, even when using the text pad. For instance, I can readily type "voilà" (I'm using my iPad now), but I can't send it to the VNC client--it shows up as "voil"
Any help would be nice; we frequently use extended chars in passwords, so it's kind of important. On the local PC keyboard, we use alt-numpad combos to enter them quickly, but pocketcloud doesn't seem to support that, either.

We use a mix of XP and Server 2003; all run RealVNC 4.1.2 (free edition) server.

I'll pass this information on to our engineering team. What Windows OS version and VNC server are you using?
