Pocket Cloud Windows Companion doesn't recognize browser proxy settings?
Pocket Cloud Windows Companion doesn't recognize browser proxy settings?
Hi,
I have the Pocket Cloud Windows Companion installed on a Windows 7 machine that sits behind a corporate proxy/firewall. The proxy settings are governed by GP and are set to "auto detect".
Should Pocket Could Windows Companion discover the proxy server automatically? Every time I try to login to my google account it fails.
Is there a log file somewhere I could check to see why it is failing? Does it look to a certain registry key for it's proxy settings that I could look at or set manually?
Thanks,
Andy

Spaz,
We currently don't support proxy servers. This will be resolved soon.

Hi Roger,
Has there been any progress with the support of proxy servers, as it has been 3 months since you indicated this would be supported "soon".
Thank you.

I pinged the development team, but they do not have a release date available for this feature. I will provide the information as soon as I get it.

I need this ASAP too. Can you please indicate time lines... And change the apps description in iTunes to reflect this possibly?

Roger / Wyse Support -
I would also like to understand what the timeline is on the support of Proxy servers. At the very least you should make it clear on your site and on the App store that you do not support the use of Proxy for the Microsoft client. Looks like I am going to have to stay with Citrix Receiver... :-(

Hi Heath,
There are no plans to add proxy support at this time. You are welcome to add it to our Feature Requests board which our Product Team routinely checks.
