Pocket Cloud PC companion locking AD accounts
Pocket Cloud PC companion locking AD accounts
Greetings!
I have the PocketCloud WIndows Companion Ver 2.3.7 loaded on WIndows 7 Pro in a corporate AD environment.
Each time I run the "Setup wizard", I get 1 bad password count on the domain controllers. Since i'm having an issue getting the autodiscover to work correctly (gmail accounts successfully registered on Ipad2 and on the Laptop), I've run the "setup wizard" several times. This locks my AD account.
Why would the Pocket Companion even be trying to hit my Domain controllers when the setup wizard runs?
Thanks in advance!
Dave

During installation PocketCloud companion verifies the user has a password set. This is ending up as a failed password check in Active Directory.
Solution: You can "Skip" the auto-discovery wizard after installation and try to login from the tray icon (kite) -> Preferences
Please let me know if this helps.
