No keyboard shortcuts???

I'm using PocketCloud for iPhone to access a Windows 7 machine, and I have Apple's bluetooth keyboard hooked up to my iPhone. Is there any way to access common Windows shortcuts using this keyboard? For example, I'd like to pull up the Start menu using Ctrl-Esc, or close an application using Alt-F4. There are keys labled Ctrl and Esc, of course, but pushing them doesn't pull up the Start menu or do anything else. There's a key labeled "option" with "alt" in small letter above it, and there is a row of buttons on the top of the keyboard with icons and small F1, F2, F3, F4, etc., labels, but pushing option/alt + F4 doesn't close a window or do anything else. It appears that no shortcut keys are supported at all.
