More resolutions/Custom resolutions

More resolutions/Custom resolutions

Hi,

My desktop uses 1920x1200 resolution. I have icons all over my desktop so after I connect to my PC, all of my icons get pushed around. It would be great if I could have a resolution like 800x1200 so it could at least match the height of my display resolution.

Thanks in advance.

AlicanC,
Thanks for your feedback. We have heard this from other customers as well and are working to add custom resolution support in the future. Stay tunned.

1) On the Main Page (My Computers) tap on "Edit" for the connection you want to modify
2) Tap on "Resolution"
3) You'll be able to modify the resolution in this page.

Please note that this feature is only available for RDP and View connections. This is not applicable to VNC (screen shadowing)

I currently have the free version and therefore only have one resolution (and it is too small for some of my apps). What resolutions are available with the pro version? My pc screen resolution is currently set as 1440 x 900, is this a supported size. My Vista Windows media center pc is set at 1920 x 1080, is that supported. That one is actually a home edition, so when I test it it unfortunately won't be rdp.

Your literature talks about custom sizes and an automatic mode but lists none of the options. On startup my computer says to set to 0x0, is that automatic mode? Screen resolution is a key piece of information since it's restricted in the free version and should definitely be in your online sales information.

Yes, both of those resolutions are supported with RDP in the Pro version.

Premium

Thx for the quick reply. You convinced me to upgrade to pro and th e better resolution helps but response seems more sluggish on some mouse clicks and sound took a while to get working. Its not real obvious that you need to go to settings and set your bandwith for sound. Now i'm tempted to upgrade to premium but don't know the cost. How much more is premium?
