Manual Connection not working?
I got this app for my iPad (iOS4.3) and I've been getting the same "unable to connect to server" problem as everyone else using RDP, but I see that the recommendation is to use a manual connection instead of auto. The problem is, manual doesn't work either. Am I doing something wrong here?
I have my Windows 7 laptop (with the desktop client) connected to my router, which is plugged into the wall. I enabled port forwarding on the router to redirect this port to my laptop. However, nothing works. I tried connecting to the IP of the router, the IP of the laptop, the IP of my ethernet modem, etc. Nothing works.
The connection DOES work if I am on the same wifi network as my laptop, but not from anywhere else.

Hi vegasmobile, If you are using manual you should be in the same network as the host computer.
If you want to connect outside the network please use our autoconnection feature.
