Computer not appearing under My Connections
Computer not appearing under My Connections
I've installed the Windows Companion on a PC running Win7 and PocketCloud on an iPhone running iOS 4.2.1. Remote access is enabled on the PC. We've entered the same Google credentials on each, yet no computers appear under My Connections on the iPhone.

Jhutto, Do you have 'allow any user to access the computer' option enabled -on the remote desktop settings?

Hi Stj, Are you on 3g or wifi?
Please check if you can access internet?
What is your remote desktop settigns: there are 3 options. Please select the option: allow any user to access(2nd option)

Either for me. I tried being on the same subnet with the phone and PC and still not automatically discovered. tried manual with the IP entered and still no connection.
Both PC and phone are logged in. PC software recognizes name of PC, but phone can not see or connect. They can both ping each other, and no ports are blocked between them, since they are on the same subnet.
