Choppy, unusable audio in PocketCloud Pro

Choppy, unusable audio in PocketCloud Pro

When using an RDP session on the iPad, the audio is choppy. I've tried WinXP on bare metal, Win7 in a VM and while both have perfectly fine audio via any other desktop RDP client, the audio through Pocketcloud Pro is useless. It stutters and is laggy. I don't expect high-fidelity, but I cannot for example listen to voicemail audio file in Outlook, hear the audio of a recorded presentation, flash audio, etc.

I have the companion installed, though I don't think it takes part in the audio as I've tried it with and without.

Any ideas? The rest of the application is pretty decent, except for when it exits suddenly.

I'm currently testing Pocket-Cloud for use with IPhones & IPads for our VM View environment. When I first installed pocket-cloud pro on my IPhone I had sound on all my VDI's, now the sound has quit working. I would like this project to work, any suggestion on correcting the issue.

Any help here support? I have premium till February & definitely won 't renew if this isn't fixed. It was my only reason for going pro & premium and audio on videos just doesn't work at all. It will probably cause me to look for an alternative rdp, I lie the product otherwise, but audio is critical! Help!

I am sorry you are experiencing so much trouble. I have passed your experience to our product team and hopefully this is something we can improve on for future releases!

What type of connection are you using when you are experiencing the chopping audio/video (3g/4g or wifi)? You will have the best experience while on wifi with strong signal. Having a weak or unstable connection (wifi and 3g/4g) can definitely cause choppiness in video/audio streaming.

Audio is only supported on RDP connections and not VNC.
