Cannot connect to physical machine, virtual machine, OR VMware View
Cannot connect to physical machine, virtual machine, OR VMware View
Hi guys, I just purchased the PocketCloud PRO app (for my iPad) from the appstore and am not having any luck accessing my machine(s). I have installed the client software on my macbook pro as well as an XP virtual machine running within Fusion, yet cannot connect to either of them. When I try to connect to my macbook, I get the following message: Could not connect to server. When I connect to the XP virtual machine, I get the following error: RDP Session Disconnected. When I try to set up access to VMware View, I cannot get past the RSA SecurID Passcode request screen. These seem to be common problems in the forums, but I've yet to find a solution...
Help?

Do this first to make sure that everything is setup correctly:
1) From your Windows machine install the VNC Viewer application and attempt to connect to your Mac machine.
2) From your Mac machine install the Remote Desktop application and attempt to connect to your Windows machine.
Do those connections succeed or fail?
For VMware View you need to enter your PIN followed by the SecureID.
For example:
PIN: 1234
SecureID: 690416
I would enter 1234690416 in PocketCloud.

Is there a fix for this yet?
I just bought the PocketCloud Pro for $14.99.
On a Windows 7 Laptop, my VMWare View 4.5 connection works like it should. On the iPad running the PocketCloud Pro it fails at the RSA authentication. I just end up in the loop like the first post described.
On the RSA log monitor I do not see where the PocketCloud app is even trying to pass along credentials. The app just fails and RSA sees no attempts at authentication.
Thanks.

Anybody?
Just ran the latest update and still nothing gets passed on to RSA for authentication. RSA two-factor still does not work.
Been almost a month now. Sure am glad Wyse takes these forums and their paying customers seriously. /snark
