Cannot connect iPad to MBP

Cannot connect iPad to MBP

I just installed and configured on my iPad and MBP the PocketCloud Pro. My iPad recognizes the MBP but when connecting, I keep on getting an error message that "PocketCloud Pro could not connect to server". Any help would be much appreciated.

Can you please tell me what type of connection are you using (RDP/VNC or VIEW)?
What is the OS type of the computer you are trying to connect (Windows XP Pro, Windows 7 Home Ed)?
Can you connect to this PC from another PC?
What is MBP?
