Can I RDP to my software running on Amazon EC2?

Can I RDP to my software running on Amazon EC2?

I'd really like to use PocketCloud on my iPad (1st gen) to use some of my company software on Amazon EC2 while at home or anywhere I have a WiFi connection.

On Amazon EC2, my instance is running and I've set up a security group that allows access through Port 3389.

On PocketCloud, I'm using the public DNS address supplied by Amazon for the Host field in my connection settings but I get the "cannot connect to server" error.

Does anyone know if this is even possible?

Thanks!

kdawg, I am looking into this and will let you know what I find. Is it using Windows? If so, what version?

Thanks, Josh. My instance is running on Microsoft Windows Server 2008. http://aws.amazon.com/windows/

kdawg, you should be able to connect to your Amazon EC2 machine. PocketCloud can connect to any machine that supports RDP or VNC connections. Please try this solution from our knowledge base:
