Black Screen When Remoting From Work Network
Black Screen When Remoting From Work Network
Running windows 7 home premium on remote machine and accessing from iPad with pocket cloud. Everything works great when iPad is on same network as pc. When accessing pc from work (using auto discovery and vnc connection), I am able to connect to remote machine, but cannot see the desktop. All I see is a black screen. I can browse for files, etc, using pocket cloud tools, just cannot see remote screen. Thanks in advance for your help! Mike.
1- the version NUMBER of PocketCloud - 2.2.137
2- the version NUMBER of PocketCloud Companion - 2.4.19
3- Device Version - Ipad running iOS 6

When you tap on the screen do you hear the click or pop noise? Sometimes you need to tap the screen to get the desktop to show up. Please let me know if that helps or not.

Tapping on screen does not cause desktop to appear.

Thanks fir the response. Yes, I have tapped on the screen and have not been able to see Anything other than black. Interestingly, I borrowed. Friends iPhone that is running iOS 5.1 and was able to see my desktop and control things with pocket cloud. I'm thinking it is potentially related to iOS 6.0, since I upgraded my iPad 2nd generation to that os.

Please try uninstalling and re-installing the application on your device. Let me know if that resolves the issue for you. We have seen a few users experience trouble with our application after upgrading to iOS 6 and a re-install has resolved the issue for them.
