Windows Key not working?

I'm trying out the free version of PocketCloud. Such a great app and connects to the UltraVNC server flawlessly!

However, on my Win7 pc I have the taskbar set to auto-hide. When I press the Windows key in PocketCloud, the taskbar doesn't pop up on the pc. I tried turning on the menu animation option but it makes no difference.

So am I doing something wrong, or is this a feature in the paid version only? Or is it a bug?
