Windows Explorer (Win7 64bit) doesn't work after client (Epic4g) rdp disconnect

Windows 7 64bit Professional

1. On Android create rdp connection for Epic 4g running 2.1
2. Chose 1280x1024 res (not running pro yet), desktop is 1900x1200, defaults otherwise.
3. Connect
> Basic testing seems to run fine
4. Disconnect Android
5. Desktop is locked (shows user logged in), log back in.

Problem is windows explorer is not running or not running correctly. Clicking on any shortcut such as my computer appears to do nothing. IE and other apps run from the taskbar. Haven't yet investigated if explorer.exe is still running or looked at event logs.

Workaround is to log off and log back on.
