Windows credentials failure

Windows credentials failure

Since last two Pocketcloud upgrades , windows computers decline my credentials. Have tried correcting the problem on my phone (Droid-X) by deleting all stored PocketCloud information (on the phone), and verifying RDC setups on the hosts. Manually entering credentials at the windows login screen (via Pocketcloud) does not help. Windows to Windows RDC client connections are successful (credentials are accepted). Hosts are running either Windows 7 Pro, Windows XP Pro, Server 2003 R-2, or Server 2008. Firewalls appear to be correct. Please help!

Does your password has special characters or numbers? If yes please try to enter them by using alphabetical keyboard for letters and special characters keyboard for special characters. DO NOT press and hold the letter to get secondary character.

Also you can try to save username and password (Press and Hold Computers name > click Edit > Enters username and password > Save) so you dont have to enter it every time.

Let me know if it worked

Please make sure you are using the latest PocketCloud Version 1.2.217 or 1.2.117

Lana: Yes, password has a special character and a number, and tried to do it as you suggested, but with no luck. I can't tell you the (Android) version I'm using, as when I click "Help-->About-->Pocket Cloud" I'm redirected to the Pocket Cloud webpage, but it has been updated twice since I purchased it. That said, you should also be aware that anytime I click on a letter/number on the touch screen keyboard, I get repeated characters ("abc" appears as "aabcabc" or something very similar to it). Can't understand it, as it worked like a charm when I first installed it (I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times). Any more ideas?

Hi,

You can find PocketCloud version by holging WYSE label at the botom of the Computers List in PocketCloud.

Also can you please check what type of keyboard do you use in Android Settings ( Android Settings > Keyboard > Input Type). Check if there is a SWYPE keyboard option. Then you can use Swyse keyboard which is better.
