Session Disconnected - VNC
Session Disconnected - VNC
I am using Pocket Cloud on an Xperia X10 droid and PC with Vista.
To use on Vista I have installed UltraVNC Win32 Server 1.0.8.2 ...which seems to work fine
I connect with my gmail acct on my PC ...no problem
I then connect to my gmail acct on my droid....no problem..i.e. my PC is listed under Discovered Connections and shows 'ON'
I click on my PC in the list and enter the password...problem...it shows 'Connecting' and then 'Session Disconnected'
Per your FAQ above, I checked Configuration(Offline), Access Control tab, and under Loopback Connections, 'Allow loopback connections' is checked.
Per my router Log:
DHCP: Server sending ACK to myPCIPaddress. (Lease time = 604800)
Dec 28 12:01:33 DHCP: Server receive REQUEST from myDroidMACaddress.
Dec 28 12:01:27 DHCP: Server sending OFFER of myPCIPaddress.
Dec 28 12:01:27 DHCP: Server receive DISCOVER from myDroidMACaddress.
...so I assume I am getting through the router to the PC and then disconnected?
Please advise next steps
Thanks

thanks lana
for UltraVNC, my only option is to right click the UVNC icon in quick start bar, click Admin Properties
I change the VNC Password to the correcct password and still no success. It appears to change it to a longer password when I re-open the dialog later.
Still getting the droid hitting the router with DISCOVER phone, OFFER an IP which is not my PC's IP, REQUEST from phone, and server sending ACK with wrong IP
my PC is 192.168.0.1
in the PocketCloud Diagnostic it says to use 192.168.0.100
and my router is offering 192.168.0.102
the IP would appear to be the problem?
how do I align the IP?

got it working...not sure how
under Admin Properties...
I enabled the 'Query on incoming connection' which brought up dialog, accepted and I had PC screen
also I had selected 'Keep existing customers' under Multi viewer connections
also must have 'Allow Loopback Connections' checked per the FAQ
it would now appear that only the latter is required and that Pocket Cloud is restarted on droid after a failed attempt to connect

Hi,
It looks like VNC issue.
Please try to re-enter Primary and View Only password in VNC (VNC Configuration > Server Tab) on PC
Re-launch PocketCloud
Make sure you enter correct VNC password while making a connection and asked for VNC password.
