Request for Mouse Options: Centralized Mouse, and Screen Follows Mouse
Request for Mouse Options: Centralized Mouse, and Screen Follows Mouse
I would like to have a couple of mouse options added to the preferences:
Centralized Mouse: this would put a simple cursor in the middle of the screen, and stay there, while moving around the screen moves the mouse on the remote machine as well, to make WYSE behave more like the iTeleport app available for iPhone (since there is nothing else like it on Android).
Screen Follows Mouse: this would go hand in hand with the centralized mouse, but could also work for the touch pointer as well as normal mode. Essentially, if the mouse is moved on the remote machine, the screen updates and repositions itself in WYSE to be recentered around the remote machine's new mouse position.
What is your policy about doing what other competitors do, only better? All I am asking for is a simple option. iTeleport offers several types of mouse behaviors, setable in the preferences. I would like to have more mouse behavior options in WYSE, if that's ok.
Thoughts?

i'm luvit
i endorse this request for mouse support.
i have purchased pocket cloud for android in good faith that this may be supported.
i have joined the forums to introduce this request, but i am glad to see purefusion beat me to the request.
i would like to see see a bluetooth mouse (& keyboard) option to support the RDP experience as naturally as possible. i would like for this to work together with multi-touch gestures.
BlueInput (Android Market APK) only supports the Bluez bluetooth chipset, but my phone is based on Broadcom chipset.
It may be a great idea if the Bluetooth input package were to be a stand alone APK that is compatible with / compliments the Wyse Pocket Cloud. This bluetooth input is above my knowledge, but i know HID support and the two bluetooth chipsets vary from phone to phone.
Additional thoughts to make the Wyse RDP experience as natural as using RDP on a PC?

Other users have suggested either being able to rotate the mouse control so that the pointer can be at some position on the control wheel other than 11:00. Another user has suggested a pointer that can be moved simply by sliding your finger anywhere on the screen. (This mode could perhaps be activated by tapping on the pointer section of the control wheel. This latter approach seems the best to me given my experience with it with the the Citrix receiver app. I don't understand why you would want to move the screen around to match up with a fixed pointer? This seems odd and I'm thinking it would also require constant repositioning of the screen.

Hey guys thank you for the suggestions! The best thing to do would be to put in an official feature request here:

Our product team will review them and hopefully your ideas can make it into a future release!
