Problem logging in to gmail account for Autodiscovery
Problem logging in to gmail account for Autodiscovery
I have just downloaded the latest PocketCloud Companion 2.2.0 and have installed it on a Windows XP Pro SP3 machine, a Windows Server 2003 Enterprise SP2 machine and a 64-bit Window 7 Enterprise SP1 machine. On all 3, the installation hung after prompting for my gmail account details. I clicked on and waited, the hourglass came and went leaving me on the same screen. I clicked on and the installation completed.
I have exited and restarted the application, right-clicked and selected "Auto Discovery Settings" and entered my gmail account details and clicked . The app sits there with the button highlighted and the greyed out. Clicking on returns successful for RDP on all machines and successful for VNC where installed.
On each machine I can login to my gmail account through the browser.
Does the Companion software need any particular ports opening on our firewall? I have looked through the forums and knowledge-base but cannot find anything obvious that I am doing wrong.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Suchitha

Hi Simon, Yes, you are right. ports 5222 and 443 should be open.
Thanks!
