PocketCloud for Android keeps asking for VNC password
PocketCloud for Android keeps asking for VNC password
Dear all,
I got a free edition of PocketCloud for Android (consider to upgrade Pro soon). I am happy with RDC connection so far, but got a problem with VNC Connection
Client: HTC Desire S, running latest Wyse PocketCloud (from Android Market). Android v. 2.3.3 (Gingerbread)
Host Machine: Windows XP Pro SP3
VNC Server: RealVNC Enterprise Edition v.4.6.1
I have set the password on VNC Server as VNC Password. However, every time I attempt to connect to it from my HTC, pocketcloud says my password is wrong? I even tried to remove the VNC password (mean no password required), pocketcloud still keeps asking for it???
Any idea?
Best

Having been struggling getting pocketcloud to recognize the password from Realvnc, i finally give up. Perhaps it is not compatible with realvnc. I shall wait for this before purchasing Pro version. Uninstalled this software for now.

So far we support Free RealVNC edition only.
What about RDP connection? You have XP Pro which can be accessed via RDP.
According to your website: http://wyse.com/products/software/po...roid/index.asp
The requirement for Android says that.... RealVNC Server Enterprise Edition 4 or later
RDP is good however, we have to support our users therefore, we need some mobility solution
