Password
Password
Is there a way that the PocketCloud Pro can be used without using a Password in the setup for the Computers that are being accessed? It appears that the password is required which should be an Optional choice at best. Please advise if you know a way to avoid the Required Password field.

PCMEDIC,
Thank you for pointing this out. We are reviewing our design regarding RDP password now and this issue will be fixed soon.
Best Regards

Your information is not accruate. It is NOT A MUST to have a password on Remote Access. Microsoft provides a White Paper (Article) as to how to turn off the password requirement for Remote Access:
There is a group policy called "Accounts:
> Limit local account use of blank passwords to console logon only".
http://www.ehow.com/how_6912307_use-...-password.html I have tried it many times and it works perfectly using just about any other RDP on the market.
Many other RDP Apps do not require a password in their "field designation" through their configuration settings whch indicates "Optional" in the password box rather than the "Required" notation in PocketClouds setup. Whereas I agree that it is not safe for the computer to open up Remote Access without a Password it is simply NOT A MUST nor is it REQUIRED to a Password when using Remote Access. I like the PocketCloud software but it has many drawbacks and failure points but it is wrong to pass on information that is not accurate. I was asking a straight forward question but was presented with not only your incorrect comments but also through e-mail with some way off based replies that were simply wrong as well. I believe that the answer to my query is that PocketCloud has made a mistake and oversight in their password configuration settings field.

To have a password is a MUST if you want to access your computer remotely. This is for security reasons
