Lenovo A1 Tablet - No Keyboard Access

Lenovo A1 Tablet - No Keyboard Access

Quite possibly the Lenovo A1 is too new, yet it's running Gingerbread 2.3.4 and is pretty compatible with most apps on the market. However, when I attempt to log into my Win7 box, I only get a konk (like a tap on a hollow log) and no keyboard appears to enter my password. I'm hoping this RDP app will be the answer to our org's remote access challenges.
TIA

It is a very new device and we haven't got our hands on one yet, so it is possible it isn't fully supported at the moment.

Does it display the pointer? If it does, there should be a option to launch the keyboard from there. Does that device have a menu button? If it does, there should be an option to launch the keyboard on the menu.

Please let me know.

Hi Josh,
Thanks for the response. Voila, you nailed it, getting the keyboard to display required tapping the menu key and selecting the keyboard. I have to say, your implementation of the pointer (mouse, pointer, keyboard, etc) is amazing. Okay, I've got myself logged in and things are looking quite nice. But I've opened up Pandora's box. I'm finding myself unable to fit my display into the 7" tablet. The prog wants to display on the tablet in a ratio of about 1024x768 which is only about 2/3'ds the screen. Secondly, we're needing the ability to control (at least scroll) dual monitors. But bottom line is, I am very impressed with your RDP implementation for the Android.
Thanks

Glad to hear that got you going!

As for the resolution, what version of PocketCloud are you using? The Pro version allows you to set custom resolutions under the connections settings. If you are using the free version, you can just zoom in to fit the screen a little better. The application does support dual monitors, it should just show as 1 desktop/screen on your tablet device.
