A problem with Standby and Windows companion
A problem with Standby and Windows companion
The problem : Standby cycle kills gmail connection
I am using pocketcloud with a homeserver running windows 7 32-bit. This server goes into standby after 1 hour of idle. After waking up the server does not show up via the online (gmail) connection and also not via the local network link I created for it, it refuses to connect
The windows companion (2.4.8) shows up as "signed in". When I then sign out and try to sign in again it cannot do it, and even removes the account information.
Exiting the program, restarting the Wyse service and then starting the program fixes this, however, this is not an option when I am not at home and I wake the server remotely...
Update: seems to work OK since 2.4.12
Update 2: rejoiced too soon...same problem after 2 days

Update: small addition, just restarting the service is sufficient, don't need to exit the program.

I sent you a PM with details on capturing and sending me a log from the companion.

Also, just so you know our application does not support WOL (Wake On Lan). So if you computer is asleep while you are attempting to connect remotely, your computer will not show up.
lol, yeah I know, I have another app for that.

Please try updating to the latest version of the Companion software (2.4.11) here:
