WMS Install Invalid Path

Good morning everyone,

I'm in the process of installing WMS 3.0 and I get this error when trying to install the actual WMS. I haven't changed anything from the defaults but I can't go any further. What can I do to fix this?

That looks to me like a permissions issue.

Can you manually create that directory path?

Has any additional hardening been performed?

Dell is using VB script to get details on the type of the Drive if the VBS file fails to run you would see that error.

CheckDriveType.vbs is the name of the file and you would find it under C:\Users\ \AppData\Local\Temp\2\{GUID}\{GUID}\ while you have that prompt up. Try to manually run the vbs file and see if you notice any errors.

In my case, Mcafee interfered.
