WMS 3.0 Unable to push a WES/Thin image to client machine

Hello all,

I have setup a WMS 3.0 server on Windows 2012. So far I have been able to load a OS image to the local repository and register my Wyse 3030 Thin Client running Windows embedded standard 7 (build number 7092) to my WMS server.

I'm able to send restart/shutdown/remote shadow commands to the client, but pushing an image is not working.

These are the results when looking at the "job history":

I also get this warning message. not too sure on how to resolve this.

Not too sure what logs to provide, so if there is any I should post let me know.

Hi,

I am getting the same issue, able to push s/w via thin app policy and WMS is properly communicating with WDA but when I try to push Golden Image/Windows 10 IOT latest image, it completes without starting and showing Run time as N/A.

I was getting error as "Merlin version cannot be null or empty"

When I checked the Merlin version, its showing me N/A or @ sometime and when I am updating it through app policy, it finishes successfully but still showing the same as version. I have tried it to update manually but it starts and completes the process on cmd in background quickly.

Is there any way to update the Merlin version to correct 407 or 409? I think this is blocking me to push the images :

The fix to my issue was updating the Merlin version. I was able to grab the download from Dells FTP site: https://downloads.dell.com/wyse/WMS/Merlin/. After upgrading clients, I was able to push images and updates without issues.

However, I only see version 401, so I'm not sure where the 407 or 409 could be downloaded from.
