USB Headset and Built-In Speakers
We are running WMS Cloud with Optiplex 3000 Thin Clients v10x. We are using Omnissa Horizon with Vmware VDI and Windows 11 Pro.
We have a VOIP phone system that uses the Edge browser for its interface. Users have USB headsets. The settings in the Phone System Browser allows for users to select where to have the Phone Ring and where to have phone audio(communications).
The problem is that I cannot get windows to show me the built-in speaker on the terminal and the USB headset. If I have the default audio device set in the terminal, then the terminal speaker will play the ringer and the phone audio will also play on the built-in speaker not the headset. If I set the default Audio to be the headset, then it rings in the users headset. The ringer is very loud and not appreciated.
How can I get both built-in speaker and the headset speaker loaded into the windows session? I would like built-in audio to be the ringer and the headset speaker for the phone conversations.
TIA
Todd
