upgrade from 3.8 to 4.4 ????

Hi,

How does one upgrade from WMS v3.8 to v4.4 ?

1. installed wms_4.0.0.526.exe

     message: "WMS Server was unable to complete your request due to internal error or misconfiguration."

2. installed WMS_Hotfix_4.0.0.550.exe

    same error message.

3. try to install  WMS_4.1.0.536.exe

    upgrade failed.
