Devices out of Compliance due to Default BIOS Password
I'm running into a problem with all our devices reporting as "Out of Compliance" due to default BIOS password being set. When clicking the "Help Me" link above the alert, the help text points me to setting a BIOS password in the ThinOS9 policy under Advanced -> BIOS -> Platform -> Enable Admin Password -> New BIOS Admin Password.
That section is not available to me as that seems to be only available in the Paid version. Is it not possible to get rid of this compliance error message without paying to expose this setting in policy templates?
Here are screenshots of the alert. This same alert is present on every device in our inventory. The second screenshot is the "Help" text after clicking on the "How to resolve this error"

I would like to know the answer to this as well. I have updated to WMS 4.4 Standard and now I have Thin Clients showing they are out of compliance due to the default BIOS password. I have tried creating a Job "Sync BIOS Admin Password". The job completes and says it was successful but when I check the Thin Clients the password has not changed and they still show not compliant. I have even tried individually "Sync BIOS Admin Password" under "More Actions" but this does not work either. This is an issue because now all my Thin Clients will show not compliant. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Would someone from Dell please respond to this. Is this normal behavior in the free version of WMS 4.4 and going forward? Should I be able to reset BIOS passwords or do I need to pay for the Pro version?

@Sir Dav1d Hi, the bios password change is only available in the pro version.

If I can only change the BIOS password to a group of devices in the Pro version then this means for folks who use the free version, they will more than likely see the bulk of their devices non-compliant due to the alert. Any other ideas on how we could reset the password without having to go to each and every device and manually reset the password?

Otherwise, for those on the free version, an option to change the compliance policy or dismiss this alert would be great Dell.

I have the pro license and it still doesn't update the BIOS password. I made sure that the default PW was Fireport exactly as its needed as well. I can successfully update the password by physically going to the Optiplex 3000 thin client and pressing F2 as it turns on to open the BIOS menu and change it there. Ive pushing the BIOS PW change through jobs as well as group policy changes and neither have yielded good results. All the changes I have made said they were successful but my 9x devices all say out of compliance.
