Unable to open file to read size of flash drive

Exclamation Unable to open file to read size of flash drive

I have seen this issue mentioned by some, but don't seem to have a concrete answer
I'll admit, I have not done a search of the forum yet, I thought I may as well just straight out ask.

Trying to re-image via USB a V50L with Linux V6

It begins the process, with the WYSE screen advising not to shut down, etc
After a few minutes that stops, Black screen comes up, with message:
"Unable to open file to read size of flash drive"

Has anyone else experienced this?
Any solution to the issue, or is this an indication of a faulty WYSE unit?

It was coming up with a Hard Disk Failure message at boot, hence why we are trying to re-image.
Perhaps that has something to do with it...?
