T50 wlx.ini: fileserver ' http' does not work, FTP is ok

T50 wlx.ini: fileserver ' http' does not work, FTP is ok

Hello,

If i use FTP it is working well:
so i have copied the map and contents from
c:\Inetpub\ftproot\wyse
to
c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\wyse
and change manually on the T50 that the ini file ftp://192.168.1.20/wyse is now http://192.168.1.20/wyse

I gave everyone full authority, also the IIS_ user.

But when i restart the T50, he does not take the new ini file.

Is there something else that i need to change for http ? I gave full authorities to everyone and the IIS_ user to the map 'wyse'.

When i try with a browser to go to http://192.168.1.20/wyse/
i can see the folder structure.

This is how the wlx.ini looks:

Fileserver="http://192.168.1.20" (I changed with and without double quotes)
Rootpath=wyse
Privilege=High
Panel.NetworkIcon=yes
ShutdownOptions=Restart,Shutdown
ScreenSaver= 15 LockTerminal=no
EnableBanner=yes BannerMsg="CompanyName"

T50 softwarelevel:

Build: 20120203-o_v-1027
Ubuntu 10 04 1 LTS
OS 2.6.32-217-hedley
Bios w7.0-218-EC_PVTO.2

Can you help me ?

Go to www.wyse.com/kb and search document "10566". Don't worry about the title of the article, but the pdf include has instructions on the changes you need to make to get HTTP and HTTPS working for WTOS, but they work for Linux.
