T50 - how to use hw acceleration for h.264, vc1/wmv9 videos?

Hi,

just bought me a Wyse T50 to play with. I want to play videos via NFS. NFS works fine, but the video player? Hmm.

In the specs it is stated:

* Hardware accelerated video decoding for smooth multimedia VC1/WMV9, and H.264 playback

how do I use this hardware acceleration? Is there a hw-enabled player pre-installed, or do I have to compile the latest svn of mplayer or vlc?
