T50 - Actual RAM Size reported by "System Information" = 802652KB
T50 - Actual RAM Size reported by "System Information" = 802652KB
Hi,
I just got a new T50 and according to the specs it should have 1GB of RAM and 1GB of flash memory. However the "System Information" reports a RAM Size of 802652KB and a Flash Size of 1000944KB.
Does anybody else with a T50 get the same numbers? If so, why is the RAM Size significantly smaller than the Flash Size when both are supposed to be 1GB? (just curious...)

Ok, I asked the question to Wyse Tech Support and they responded quite promptly. They said that "...The RAM size is significantly smaller, because video card is also using RAM out of the 1GB available. Video card does not have separate memory...".
I hope this can help someone else that might come across the same question.
