NewBie Help on Wyse SX0 S50

NewBie Help on Wyse SX0 S50

I have this Wyse SX0 S50 with Linux V6. 128MB with 64MB Flash.

I did a factory rest by pressing G. Firefox works. I have also reset the bios to make it boot from USB.

What I need is to run a linux app from the USB attached to it. The App reads the serial port data and sends over net, works good on linux on pc.

1 How can I run a program from the usb. Please guide.

2. Which Linux version can I use to boot from USB.? I tried the tinycore, DSL, both hang are are not working.

3. Can the x86 binary with one conf file stored in the TC as a package and configured to execute on start up.

Please guide. I am new to TC world.a

I loaded Tinycore linux on a USB and changed the boot order from the bios. The TC boost from usb in around 3 minutes and my program is executed from the USB.

is that the way to go on this hardware ?

Can I do the same thing on the embedded Linux (which boots very fast) ?
