New T50 - Does it support 1600x1200 with a Single Monitor?
New T50 - Does it support 1600x1200 with a Single Monitor?
Hi All,
I just bought a new T50 and I connected it to a NEC 2080UX monitor using the DVI port. The monitor supports up to 1600x1200 and the T50 is supposed to support up to 1920x1200. However, the maximum resolution that appears under "System Settings -> Display -> Monitor Preferences" is 1280x1024.
So, does anyone now if the T50 actually supports 1600x1200 and if so, is there any "special configuration" to be done (perhaps in the .ini files)?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I tried different monitors and confirmed that high resolutions work very well on the T50 (1680x1050, 1920x1080), so I raised a support case with Wyse.
Wyse support contacted me and later confirmed that 1600x1200 currently does not work on the T50. They indicated that the problem should be corrected in the next firmware release. My T50 BIOS version is W7.0_213-EC_PVT0.1, by the way.
