Issues with Wyse T50 terminal saving settings
Issues with Wyse T50 terminal saving settings
Hi,
I spent quite a considerable amount of time on this.
I have issues with settings not being saved or changing.
I logged in as admin and then clicked the MIXER and muted the sound of the speaker.
Then I shut down the terminal and restarted it. The setting that I had made to mute the speaker has reverted to not muted. It is not saving my preference.
Other preferences, such as ini settings ftp path, do get saved.
Also when using autologin to launch a wlx.ini file, I use thinuser as the default user for autologin.
It works the first time. Once I shut down the terminal and restart it, the default username for autologin changed to admin exposing all the admin settings which is not secure.
To me this sound like a bug in the software, unless I am really stupid.
My terminal is system version 7.0_217. CPU Version 88F6781 if this helps.
If anyone has any advice, it will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and regards

You may want to make sure that you are not using the Central Configuration feature (via FTP and WLX.ini file). if you are, any changes you make to the client will only be retained until you reboot it.
