How to improve Performance on Wyse Z50s thin client

Hi all,

I've a Wyse Z50s with Wyse Enhanced SUSE Linux OS which i connect to my Windows 7 virtual desktop (VMware View 5). The performance of the graphical elements is a lot poorer than i would expect, video is jerky and screen re-draw is poor. If i use a Wyse portable terminal with Windows embeded and connect to the same virtual desktop, the performance is far better.

I appreciate the two are different OS's (the hardware is pretty much the same), but can anyone recommend something to improve the performance of the thin client??
