Freezing session

Freezing session

I am hoping that someone can help. I don't have any experience yet in the thin clients .....

We are running windows 2008 r2 server with VMware. We have a couple terminal servers setup. I have 15 wyse model zx0 boxes running Suse Linux Enterprise 11.

Platform: z50s
Build: 11.1.052.01
SLETC: 1.4.1115

We have several of these boxes freeze up every day. They can reboot the box and then log back into the terminal session with no problem. I can also just log into their session on the term server with another machine and then disconnect from the session and it will "unfreeze" them on their end (they get booted from the term server and are back looking at the Linux desktop but they can then log back in again and they are good for the day). That makes me think that it is just a client issue?

I have seen similar issues on the forum with different model boxes. I was wondering if anyone has come up with a solution. I also know that there are image upgrades available but I know nothing about Linux or the thin clients in general so I am unsure how to proceed with upgrades (we had another company install all the units and set us up, and I am trying to avoid the cost of them coming to fix this).

Thanks for any insight

JL

mouse issue

Doesn't look like anyone has any input which is fine. I will add that it looks like the boxes are not actually freezing but instead are not responding to the buttons on the mouse. The keyboard still responds and allows for the user to get to the disconnect option. Once back at the local desktop, they have their mouse function back and can log in again. I have tried other mice but maybe not the "correct" one. I will continue to search for an answer.

thanks anyway ....
